tropes, taylor swift and r u afraid of the dark? | march readathon tbr

now that it’s march, it feels like 2020’s march again. to be honest, nothing much has changed since last year. i remember the chaos that ensued after news of COVID came out and the subsequent country-wide lockdown. on top of that, i just attended my friend’s university convocation and felt a little bittersweet because it reminded me that i didn’t get to have mine because of the disease. though, i’m thoroughly excited and proud of my friend for completing four years of university and is pursuing her dream of being a teacher.

for bookish goals this march, there’s quite a balance of backlisted books and 2021 releases. initially, i had chain of iron by cassandra clare on my must-read this month but i wasn’t sure when i’ll be receiving my preorder. i’ll definitely be putting everything down once the physical copy reach me. also, i’ll be reading the ones we’re meant to find by joan he as soon as possible since i got the ARC. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ it’s one of my most anticipated 2021 releases so. ARC GOD BLESSED ME.

popculture readathon will be happening between 14th to 20th while both ’tis the damn readathon (taylor swift) and trope-ical readathon is month-long. for the latter, i’m joining team romance so that i can read accidentally engaged by farah heron.

    1. now that i’ve read from blood and ash, i do have some mixed feelings too. it’s nice but the ending was weird (aka the subsequent sexual stuff that happened after person A found out that person B’s identity and how many people B has killed). maybe that’s just me. hahah you do you, sam. making a fixed tbr isn’t for everyone. i do deviate from reading from my monthly tbr whenever the mood comes.
