Hello, welcome to a book tag! Becky @ Simply It’s Blue tagged me last year and it has evidently taken me months before I started on answering the questions. Better late than never, right? This probably can be my tagline nowadays, especially with book tag posts.

Prompts
💬 never have I ever…
READ A LATER BOOK IN A SERIES BEFORE READING THE FIRST BOOK 💬
Yes, but it wasn’t on purpose! Only when I finished New Moon, I realised it was the second book in the series. I bought it off the shelves, without doing any research.
💬 never have I ever…
BURNED A BOOK 💬
Nope and never.
💬 never have I ever…
READ A BOOK I KNEW I WOULD HATE💬
I will never do that to myself.
💬 never have I ever…
WROTE A FANFICTION ABOUT MY FAVOURITE BOOKS 💬
Wrote a fanfiction of The Clique series by Lisi Harrison when I was in secondary school because I was pissed that Derrick didn’t end up with Massie. In my mind, I need them to be together and I made that happen in my fanfiction that I didn’t finish.
💬 never have I ever…
LOVED A BOOK WHEN I WAS YOUNG, YET HATED IT WHEN I GOT OLDER 💬
Don’t think so. At least not to the extent of hating, but probably just don’t love as much now.
💬 never have I ever…
DRESSED UP AS ONE OF MY FAVORITE LITERARY CHARACTERS 💬
I dressed up as Hermione two years ago for my friend’s Halloween party.
💬 never have I ever…
HATED A BOOK BY AN AUTHOR I LOVE 💬
For now, not yet. I do have books that I rated lower or didn’t feel too passionately about from authors that I love but my dislike doesn’t equate to hating it.
💬 never have I ever…
GONE INTO A BOOKSTORE TO BUY ONE BOOK AND COME OUT WITH MANY MORE 💬
I do that at times. Most of the time though, I visit a bookstore because I just miss browsing books, and often come out without purchasing anything.
💬 never have I ever…
READ THE ENDING OF A BOOK BEFORE READING THE BEGINNING 💬
Oh, I hate this. Not going to lie, I do get tempted a lot to skip till the end to find out what will happen, and either feel relieve or dread, especially for mystery books and books written by authors I know are RUTHLESS WITH MY FEELINGS. My sister does it and I always snap the book shut before she could spoil the book for herself.
💬 never have I ever…
READ 1 BOOK WITHOUT THE DUST COVER 💬
I always read with the dust cover, and managed to not tear or spoil any covers of my hardcover books. Woohoo~
💬 never have I ever…
SKIM READ NEARLY HALF A BOOK 💬
Yes, The Siren by Kiera Cass was that for me. I didn’t like it very much. There are probably other books but I can’t remember the titles for the life of me.
💬 never have I ever…
PRETENDED TO HAVE READ A BOOK THAT I HAVEN’T 💬
Don’t think I did that before.
💬 never have I ever…
SAW THE MOVIE BEFORE THE BOOK 💬
I’m not a huge fan of watching the movie then reading the book or vice versa. However, I did that for Percy Jackson because the movie was on television, and I wanted to read the series.
💬 never have I ever…
GOT A BOOK SIGNED FROM YOUR FAVOURITE AUTHOR 💬
Does book plates that comes with preorder campaigns count? I have book plates signed by Katie Zhao and Elizabeth Lim. Since I live in Asia, I barely get to meet any authors since most book tours are in the United States, Europe or the United Kingdom.
💬 My Question to You:
never have I ever…
FEEL GUILTY FOR UNHAULING A BOOK THAT YOU HAVEN’T READ YET 💬
I do every time. It feels like I’m always throwing away the money that I spent in the past since I didn’t read the book. Trying to move pass this feeling nowadays, but it’s hard.

That’s all for the NEVER HAVE I EVER book tag! Thank you for tagging me, Becky! 💙 These questions required less thinking since I didn’t have to recommend any books and further explain why I love it, so it’s a whole other experience I enjoyed.
This is so fun! I might as well do it myself ❤

I loved your answers !!! 🥰 Thank you so much for the tag, hun 💕 And I skipped The Siren by Kiera Cass too !! What was that?? I am also incredibly jealous of your skill of reading books with the dust jacket without tearing it! Teach me your ways 😂
